(dy/dx)=cos x  (d/dy)(cos^7  x)=(d/dx)(cos^7  x)×(dx/dy)=−7 cos^6  x sin x×(1/(cos x))=−7 cos^5  x sin x  (d^2 /dy^2 )(cos^7  x)=(d/dy)((d/dy)(cos^7  x))  =(d/dx)(−7 cos^5  x sin x)×(dx/dy)  =−7(−5 cos^4  x sin^2  x+cos^5  x cos x)×(1/(cos x))  =−7(−5 sin^2  x+cos^2  x)cos^3  x  =7 cos^3  x (6 sin^2  x−1) ✓

  (1) y=sin x⇒(dy/dx) = cos x    (2) (d/dy) (cos^7 x)=(((d/dx)(cos^7 x))/(dy/dx))     = ((−7cos^6 x sin x)/(cos x))=−7cos^5 x sin x    (3) (d/dy)((d/dy)(cos^7 x))=(d/dy)(−7cos^5 sin x)    (((d/dx)(−7cos^5 x sin x))/(dy/dx)) = ((35cos^4 x sin^2 x −7cos^6 x)/(cos x))   = −7 cos^5 x +35 cos^3 x sin^2 x
