  2((1/2) cos x−((√3)/2) sin x)= 1      cos (x+60°) = (1/2)= cos 60°
$$\:\:\mathrm{2}\left(\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\mathrm{2}}\:\mathrm{cos}\:\mathrm{x}−\frac{\sqrt{\mathrm{3}}}{\mathrm{2}}\:\mathrm{sin}\:\mathrm{x}\right)=\:\mathrm{1} \\ $$$$\:\:\:\:\mathrm{cos}\:\left(\mathrm{x}+\mathrm{60}°\right)\:=\:\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\mathrm{2}}=\:\mathrm{cos}\:\mathrm{60}°\: \\ $$
