   x(3+4)=5 x(7)=5 7x=5 7((1/7))x=5((1/7)) 7((1/7))x=(5/7) x=(5/7) determinant (((∴ x=(5/7))))
$$\: \\ $$$${x}\left(\mathrm{3}+\mathrm{4}\right)=\mathrm{5} \\ $$$${x}\left(\mathrm{7}\right)=\mathrm{5} \\ $$$$\mathrm{7}{x}=\mathrm{5} \\ $$$$\mathrm{7}\left(\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\mathrm{7}}\right){x}=\mathrm{5}\left(\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\mathrm{7}}\right) \\ $$$$\cancel{\mathrm{7}}\left(\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\cancel{\mathrm{7}}}\right){x}=\frac{\mathrm{5}}{\mathrm{7}} \\ $$$${x}=\frac{\mathrm{5}}{\mathrm{7}} \\ $$$$\begin{array}{|c|}{\therefore\:{x}=\frac{\mathrm{5}}{\mathrm{7}}}\\\hline\end{array} \\ $$

Assuming you want to solve for x... 3x+4x=7x combine like terms 7x=5 simplify ((7x)/7)=(5/7) divide by 7 on both sides x=(5/7) answer
