(3p^2 −p+q^3 )^(12) =Σ_(a+b+c=12) ((( 12)),((a,b,c)) )(3p^2 )^a (−p)^b (q^3 )^c 3c=6 ⇒ c=2 a+b=12−2=10 2a+b=10 ⇒a=0, b=10 coef. of p^(10) q^6 is ((( 12)),((0, 10, 2)) ) 3^0 (−1)^(10) 1^2 =((12!)/(10!2!))=66 ✓
