remember:   cos2x=2cos^2 x−1  cos^2 x =((cos2x+1)/2)  ∫_(π/(12)) ^(π/4) cos^2 x dx=(1/2)×∫_(π/(12)) ^(π/4) (cos2x+1) dx                          =(1/2)×((1/2)sin2x+x)∣_(π/(12)) ^(π/4)                           =(1/2)×{((1/2)×1+(π/4))−((1/2)×(1/2)+(π/(12)))}                          =(1/2)×((1/4)+(π/6))                          =(1/8)+(π/(12))
