How can kerosine be heated ???.   please give reasons.

i think because kerosine has short carbon chain  so when kerosine be heated the chain will be  cut off with small energy  i′m not sure how to answer this
$$\mathrm{i}\:\mathrm{think}\:\mathrm{because}\:\mathrm{kerosine}\:\mathrm{has}\:\mathrm{short}\:\mathrm{carbon}\:\mathrm{chain} \\ $$$$\mathrm{so}\:\mathrm{when}\:\mathrm{kerosine}\:\mathrm{be}\:\mathrm{heated}\:\mathrm{the}\:\mathrm{chain}\:\mathrm{will}\:\mathrm{be} \\ $$$$\mathrm{cut}\:\mathrm{off}\:\mathrm{with}\:\mathrm{small}\:\mathrm{energy} \\ $$$$\mathrm{i}'\mathrm{m}\:\mathrm{not}\:\mathrm{sure}\:\mathrm{how}\:\mathrm{to}\:\mathrm{answer}\:\mathrm{this} \\ $$

because kerosine has 12−16 atomics carbon in its chain.  that makes kerosine has boiling point at 170°−300°C
$$\mathrm{because}\:\mathrm{kerosine}\:\mathrm{has}\:\mathrm{12}−\mathrm{16}\:\mathrm{atomics}\:\mathrm{carbon}\:\mathrm{in}\:\mathrm{its}\:\mathrm{chain}. \\ $$$$\mathrm{that}\:\mathrm{makes}\:\mathrm{kerosine}\:\mathrm{has}\:\mathrm{boiling}\:\mathrm{point}\:\mathrm{at}\:\mathrm{170}°−\mathrm{300}°\mathrm{C} \\ $$
