let the speed on an open air = x km/hr  so the speed in the city = (x−420) km/hr    time in open air = time in the city  ((29)/x) = ((15)/(x−420))  29x − 12,180 = 15x  14x = 12,180  x = 870  the speed on an open air = 870 km/hr  the speed in the city = 870−420 = 450 km/hr
