As   CD=AE  EM=(1/2)CD=(1/2)AE  sin α = ((EM)/(AE))= (1/2)  ⇒  𝛂 = 30°  .
$${As}\:\:\:{CD}={AE} \\ $$$${EM}=\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\mathrm{2}}{CD}=\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\mathrm{2}}{AE} \\ $$$$\mathrm{sin}\:\alpha\:=\:\frac{{EM}}{{AE}}=\:\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\mathrm{2}} \\ $$$$\Rightarrow\:\:\boldsymbol{\alpha}\:=\:\mathrm{30}°\:\:. \\ $$
