$$\frac{{b}−{a}}{{b}+{a}}=\frac{{a}−{c}}{{a}+{c}} \\ $$$${ab}−{a}^{\mathrm{2}} +{bc}−{ac}={ab}+{a}^{\mathrm{2}} −{bc}−{ac} \\ $$$${a}^{\mathrm{2}} ={bc} \\ $$$$\Rightarrow{a}=\sqrt{{bc}} \\ $$
