    (x−y)^2   =(x+y)^2 −4xy  =12^2 −4∙16  =80  ⇒x−y=±(√(80))=±4(√5)      (√(x/y))−(√(y/x))  =((√x)/(√y))−((√y)/(√x))  =((x−y)/(√(xy)))  =((±4(√5))/(√(16)))=±(√5)
