without using calculator or table, find the exact value of  :  sin[tan^(−1) ((1/2))]

Answer   . sin [tan^(−1) (x)]=x/(√((1+x(2/))))   sin [tan^(−1) (1/2)]=((1/2)/(√(1+(1/2)(2/))))                                              =((1/2)/(√(1+1/4)))                                   =((1/2)/(√(5/4)))                                   =(1/2)/(√(5/4))                                    =(1/2)×((√4)/(√5))                                     =(1/(√5))                                     =((√5)/5)
