A body of mass 5kg is acted on by two forces 30N and 40N. Find the vector acceleration of the object?

$$\mathrm{A}\:\mathrm{body}\:\mathrm{of}\:\mathrm{mass}\:\mathrm{5kg}\:\mathrm{is}\:\mathrm{acted}\:\mathrm{on}\:\mathrm{by}\:\mathrm{two}\:\mathrm{forces}\:\mathrm{30N} \\ $$$$\mathrm{and}\:\mathrm{40N}.\:\mathrm{Find}\:\mathrm{the}\:\mathrm{vector}\:\mathrm{acceleration}\:\mathrm{of}\:\mathrm{the}\:\mathrm{object}? \\ $$

A force is vector quantity, specificied by its magnitude (30 N and 40 N) and its direction. You havn′t specified the directions of the forces. So we cannot solve the problem without a component (direction)

$$\:\mathrm{A}\:\mathrm{force}\:\mathrm{is}\:\:\mathrm{vector}\:\mathrm{quantity},\:\mathrm{specificied}\:\mathrm{by}\:\mathrm{its}\:\mathrm{magnitude} \\ $$$$\left(\mathrm{30}\:\mathrm{N}\:\mathrm{and}\:\mathrm{40}\:\mathrm{N}\right)\:\mathrm{and}\:\mathrm{its}\:\mathrm{direction}.\:\mathrm{You}\:\mathrm{havn}'\mathrm{t}\:\mathrm{specified}\:\mathrm{the} \\ $$$$\mathrm{directions}\:\mathrm{of}\:\mathrm{the}\:\mathrm{forces}.\: \\ $$$$\mathrm{So}\:\mathrm{we}\:\mathrm{cannot}\:\mathrm{solve}\:\mathrm{the}\:\mathrm{problem}\:\mathrm{without}\:\mathrm{a}\:\mathrm{component}\:\left(\mathrm{direction}\right) \\ $$
