∣cosx∣≥1−sin^2 x⇔∣cosx∣≥cos^2 x=∣cosx∣^2   ⇔∣cosx∣≤1.The last inequality is   always true ∀x.Hence,∣cosx∣≥1−sin^2 x  is true (q.e.d)
