y=x^3 −21x−20  y=mx  say red line is tangent to curve  at x=s ⇒  m=3s^2 −21  Intersections  x^3 −(21+m)x−20=0  x^3 −(21+3s^2 −21)x−20=0  x^3 −3s^2 x−20=0  p+2s=0   ⇒  s=−(p/2)  s^2 p=20  ⇒  p^3 =80  ________________________          p  =2(10)^(1/3)   ________________________

m=3s^2 −21 = 3((p^2 /4)−7)    m = 3[(100)^(1/3) −7]

$${m}=\mathrm{3}{s}^{\mathrm{2}} −\mathrm{21}\:=\:\mathrm{3}\left(\frac{{p}^{\mathrm{2}} }{\mathrm{4}}−\mathrm{7}\right) \\ $$$$\:\:{m}\:=\:\mathrm{3}\left[\left(\mathrm{100}\right)^{\mathrm{1}/\mathrm{3}} −\mathrm{7}\right] \\ $$
