 arctan 1 + arctan 2 + arctan 3 =?

arctan1+arctan2+arctan3=?

Answered by benjo_mathlover last updated on 20/Dec/20

(•) arctan 1+arctan 2=arctan (((1+2)/(1−1.2))) arctan (−3) (••) arctan (−3)+arctan (3)=arctan (((−3+3)/(1−(−3)(3)))) = arctan ((0/7)) = arctan 0 = π

()arctan1+arctan2=arctan(1+211.2)arctan(3)()arctan(3)+arctan(3)=arctan(3+31(3)(3))=arctan(07)=arctan0=π

arctan(1)=(π/4) and tan(arctan2+arctan3)=((2+3)/(1−2.3))=(5/(−5))=−1 ⇒arctan2 +arctan3=arctan(−1)=−(π/4) ⇒Σarctan=0

arctan(1)=π4andtan(arctan2+arctan3)=2+312.3=55=1arctan2+arctan3=arctan(1)=π4Σarctan=0
