lim_(x→−3^− ) [ ((∣x+3∣)/(x+3)) ] = lim_(x→−3^− )  ((−(x+3))/(x+3)) = −1  lim_(x→−3^+  )  [ ((∣x+3∣)/(x+3)) ] = lim_(x→−3^+ )  ((x+3)/(x+3)) = 1
