$$\frac{\mathrm{FG}}{8}=\frac{5}{6}\Rightarrow \mathrm{FG}=\frac{20}{3}$$$$\frac{\mathrm{DE}}{8}=\frac{3}{6}\Rightarrow \mathrm{DE}=4$$$$\mathrm{Area}\mathrm{FGED}=\frac{8\times 6}{2}-\frac{\frac{20}{3}+8}{2}\times 1-\frac{3\times 4}{2}$$$$=24-(\frac{10}{3}+4)-6$$$$=18-\frac{22}{3}=\frac{32}{3}$$
