A gold ore is found to have a purity  of 70ppm. How much gold in grams  can be recovered from 5kg of the ore?

m_(pure gold)  = τm_(ore)  = 70.10^(−6) ×5.10^3  = 0,35g

mpuregold=τmore=70.106×5.103=0,35g
