6^z^4 =6^(z^2 z^2 ) =(6^z^2 )^z^2 =z^z^2 ⇒z=6^z^2 ⇒6z^4 =6^(4z^2 +1) =6^z^4 ⇒z^4 =4z^2 +1 u=z^2 u^2 −4u−1=0 u_(1;2) =(1/2)(4±(√(16+4)))=2±(√5) But u=z^2 ≥0 ⇒ u_1 =2+(√5)>0 is the answer while u_2 =2−(√5)<0 is not. Therefore: z^4 +z^2 +1=u_1 ^2 +u_1 +1=(2+(√5))^2 +3+(√5)= =4+5+4(√5)+3+(√5)=12+5(√5) ⇒z^4 +z^2 +1=12+5(√5)
