$$\mathrm{The}\mathrm{pencils}\mathrm{has}\mathrm{diameter}7\mathrm{mm}.$$$$$$$$\mathrm{Question}$$Seven pencils are held together in hexagon shape by an elastic band. If the pencils are of diameter 7mm, what is the length of the band in this shape

$$\mathrm{L}=6\times (2r+2r\frac{\pi }{6})$$$$\mathrm{L}=12r(1+\frac{\pi }{6})$$$$r=3,5mm:\mathrm{L}=64,0mm$$
