$$$$$$\mathrm{Kofi}\mathrm{is}20\mathrm{\%}\mathrm{heavier}\mathrm{than}\mathrm{Afia}.\mathrm{If}\mathrm{Kofi}$$$$\mathrm{weighs}60\mathrm{kg}\mathrm{what}\mathrm{is}{\mathrm{Afia}}^{\prime }\mathrm{s}\mathrm{weight}?$$

$$Let{Afia}^{\prime }sweightisw$$$${Kofi}^{\prime }sweight=w+\left(20\mathrm{\%}ofw\right)=60$$$$w+w\times \frac{20}{100}=60$$$$w(1+\frac{1}{5})=60$$$$w\times \frac{6}{5}=60$$$$w=60\times \frac{5}{6}=50$$$${Afia}^{\prime }sweight=50kg$$
