$$x=3\Rightarrow p\left(3\right)=\frac{p\left(4\right)}{3}=\frac{12}{3}=4$$$$x=2\Rightarrow p\left(2\right)=\frac{p\left(3\right)}{2}=\frac{4}{2}=2$$

$$p\left(x\right)=\frac{p(x+1)}{x};p\left(4\right)=12;p\left(2\right)=?$$$$p\left(x\right)=\frac{\frac{p(x+2)}{x+1}}{x}[\because p(x+1)=\frac{p(x+2)}{x+1}]$$$$p\left(x\right)=\frac{p(x+2)}{x(x+1)}$$$$p\left(2\right)=\frac{p(2+2)}{2(2+1)}=\frac{p\left(4\right)}{2\left(3\right)}=\frac{12}{6}=2$$
