Determine all pairs (x;y) of integers  which satisfy  ∣x^2  - y^2 ∣ - (√(16y + 1)) = 0

 y≥0 , y∈Z  ⇒∣x^2 −y^2 ∣ = (√(16y+1))  ⇒let (√(16y+1)) = u  ⇒u^2 −1=16y  ⇒(u+1)(u−1)=16y  case(1)  { ((u−1=8;u=9)),((u+1=2y)) :} ⇒y=5  x=±4 ⇒(x,y)=(±4,5)  case(2) { ((u−1=8y⇒y=0)),((u+1=2⇒u=1)) :}⇒x=±1  (x,y)=(±1,0)  case(3) { ((u−1=4⇒u=5)),((u+1=4y⇒y=(3/2) (no solution)) :}   case(4) { ((u−1=4y⇒y=(1/2))),((u+1=4⇒u=3)) :}  case(5) { ((u−1=2y⇒y=3)),((u+1=8⇒u=7)) :}  ∣x^2 −9∣=7 → { ((x^2 =16→x=±4)),((x^2 =2 (no solution))) :}  (x,y)=(±4,3)
