Find the sum of the two shaded angles.

blue angles are related to the yellow  circle.  now look at the green angles which  are related to the black circle. we  have (β+γ)=2γ.  it follows β=γ.  sum of shaded angles =α+γ       =α+β=45°

$${blue}\:{angles}\:{are}\:{related}\:{to}\:{the}\:{yellow} \\ $$$${circle}. \\ $$$${now}\:{look}\:{at}\:{the}\:{green}\:{angles}\:{which} \\ $$$${are}\:{related}\:{to}\:{the}\:{black}\:{circle}.\:{we} \\ $$$${have}\:\left(\beta+\gamma\right)=\mathrm{2}\gamma. \\ $$$${it}\:{follows}\:\beta=\gamma. \\ $$$${sum}\:{of}\:{shaded}\:{angles}\:=\alpha+\gamma \\ $$$$\:\:\:\:\:=\alpha+\beta=\mathrm{45}° \\ $$
