the given equation is equivalent to  (2/(log_3 x)).(1/(1+log_3 x))=(1/(2+(1/2)log_3 x))(for x>0,x≠1)  ⇔2(4+log_3 x)=2.log_3 x(1+log_3 x)  ⇔log_3 ^2 x=4⇔log_3 x=±2⇔x=3^(±2)   ⇔x∈{(1/9),9}
