$$makeBE=BC$$$$then\mathrm{\Delta }BED\equiv \mathrm{\Delta }BCD$$$$DE=DC$$$$AE=AB-EB=(BC+CD)-BC=CD=DE$$$$\Rightarrow \mathrm{\angle }ADE=\mathrm{\angle }DAE=\alpha$$$$\mathrm{\angle }DEB=2\alpha$$$$\mathrm{\angle }BCD=\mathrm{\angle }DEB=2\alpha$$$$\mathrm{\angle }A+\mathrm{\angle }C+\mathrm{\angle }B=180°$$$$\alpha +2\alpha +(30°+30°)=180°$$$$3\alpha =120°$$$$\Rightarrow \alpha =40°$$
