$$\Rightarrow 4^t-3^t=a+8-(a+1)=7$$$$\Rightarrow t=2$$$$4^t=16=a+8\Rightarrow a=8$$

$$\log {}_{3}4=\log {}_{(a+1)}(a+8)$$$$a+1=3^2$$$$a+8=4^2$$$$a=8$$$$$$
