$$\frac{8+6+12}{2}=13$$$${\mathrm{\Delta }}_{DEF}=\sqrt{13\times (13-8)\times (13-6)\times (13-12)}=\sqrt{455}$$$${\mathrm{\Delta }}_{ABC}={\left(\frac{20}{8}\right)}^2\sqrt{455}=\frac{25\sqrt{455}}{4}$$
