find tbe domain and range of the following functions y=4x/x^2 −4

$${find}\:{tbe}\:{domain}\:{and}\:{range}\:{of}\:{the}\:{following}\:{functions} \\ $$$${y}=\mathrm{4}{x}/{x}^{\mathrm{2}} −\mathrm{4} \\ $$

  x^2 −4=0⇒x=±2    Df= R−{±2}

$$ \\ $$$${x}^{\mathrm{2}} −\mathrm{4}=\mathrm{0}\Rightarrow{x}=\pm\mathrm{2} \\ $$$$ \\ $$$${Df}=\:{R}−\left\{\pm\mathrm{2}\right\} \\ $$

x^2 −4=0  x^2 =4  x=±2  domain={x∣x∈R,except x=±2}

$${x}^{\mathrm{2}} −\mathrm{4}=\mathrm{0} \\ $$$${x}^{\mathrm{2}} =\mathrm{4} \\ $$$${x}=\pm\mathrm{2} \\ $$$${domain}=\left\{{x}\mid{x}\in{R},{except}\:{x}=\pm\mathrm{2}\right\} \\ $$
