 f(x)=((x+1)/( (√(x^2 +9))))   find the horizontal asymptote

lim_(x→−∞) f(x)=lim_(x→−∞) ((x+1)/(∣x∣(√(1+(9/x^2 )))))  =lim_(x→−∞) ((x+1)/(−x(√(1+(9/x^2 )))))  =−1 ⇒y=−1 is assymtote  at −∞  lim_(x→+∞) f(x)=lim_(x→+∞) ((x+1)/(x(√(1+(9/x^2 )))))

=1 ⇒y=1 is assymptote at +∞

$$=\mathrm{1}\:\Rightarrow{y}=\mathrm{1}\:{is}\:{assymptote}\:{at}\:+\infty \\ $$
