Let a, b and c be the three numbers in order such that: a=1.2c b=1.1c āˆ“ ((1.2cāˆ’1.1c)/(1.1c)) ā‰ˆ0.091 The first number is 9.1% greater than the second number

$$\mathrm{Let}\:{a},\:{b}\:\mathrm{and}\:{c}\:\mathrm{be}\:\mathrm{the}\:\mathrm{three}\:\mathrm{numbers}\:\mathrm{in}\:\mathrm{order}\:\mathrm{such}\:\mathrm{that}: \\ $$$${a}=\mathrm{1}.\mathrm{2}{c} \\ $$$${b}=\mathrm{1}.\mathrm{1}{c} \\ $$$$\therefore\:\frac{\mathrm{1}.\mathrm{2}{c}āˆ’\mathrm{1}.\mathrm{1}{c}}{\mathrm{1}.\mathrm{1}{c}} \\ $$$$\approx\mathrm{0}.\mathrm{091} \\ $$$$\mathrm{The}\:\mathrm{first}\:\mathrm{number}\:\mathrm{is}\:\mathrm{9}.\mathrm{1\%}\:\mathrm{greater}\:\mathrm{than}\:\mathrm{the}\:\mathrm{second}\:\mathrm{number} \\ $$
