a_n =1+4(n−1)  b_m =4+3(m−1)  a_n =b_m   1+4(n−1)=4+3(m−1)  4(n−1)=3m  ⇒n−1=3k, m=4k  ⇒a_n =1+12k=b_m   1+12k≥100 ⇒k≥((99)/(12))≥8  1+12k≤999 ⇒k≤((998)/(12))≤83  ⇒83−8+1=76 numbers with 3 digits   are common in sequences a_n  and b_n .
