$$Other{candidates}^{\prime }percentage$$$$=100-87.5=12.5\mathrm{\%}$$$$12.5\mathrm{\%}ofvote-cast=275$$$$\frac{12.5}{100}\times vote-cast=275$$$$vote-cast=275\times \frac{100}{12.5}=2200$$$$\left(a\right)\mathcal{T}he{winner}^{\prime }svotes$$$$=2200-275=1925$$$$55\mathrm{\%}of(No.of\mathcal{E}ligiblevoters)=2200$$$$\frac{55}{100}\times (No.of\mathcal{E}ligiblevoters)=2200$$$$\left(b\right)No.of\mathcal{E}ligiblevoters$$$$=2200\times \frac{100}{55}=4000$$$$$$
