$$7x+y=9y+x$$$$3x=4y$$$$\Rightarrow x=4t,y=3t$$$$sincex,y⩽6$$$$\Rightarrow t=1$$$$\Rightarrow x=4,y=3$$$$\Rightarrow x+y=7$$
