	$\frac{a}{3} = \frac{c}{5}$ $\frac{a}{c} = \frac{3}{5}; a = 3 k, c = 5 k$ $3 (3 k) + 5 k = 42$ $14 k = 42$ $k = \frac{42}{14} = 3$ $c = 5 (3) = 15$ $b = \frac{4}{5} \cdot c$ $b = \frac{4 \cdot 15}{5} = 12$
