cos x and sin 2 are side lengthes, so they must be positive values. cos x >0 cos^2 x+sin^2 2=1 sin 2=sin (π−2) cos x=(√(1−sin^2 2))=(√(1−sin^2 (π−2)))=cos (π−2) ⇒x=(2k+1)π±2 ✓

cosxandsin2aresidelengthes,sotheymustbepositivevalues.cosx>0cos2x+sin22=1sin2=sin(π2)cosx=1sin22=1sin2(π2)=cos(π2)x=(2k+1)π±2
