$$\underset{x\to 1}{\lim }\mathrm{f}\left(\mathrm{x}\right)=\underset{x\to 1}{\lim }\frac{\mathrm{x}(\mathrm{x}-1)}{(\mathrm{x}+1)(\mathrm{x}-1)}=\frac{1}{2}$$
