$$2^4\sqrt{x}+\frac{2}{{}^4\sqrt{x}}=5$$$$\sqrt{x}-\frac{5}{2}{}^4\sqrt{x}+1=0$$$${}^4\sqrt{x}=\frac{\frac{5}{2}\pm \sqrt{\frac{25}{4}-4}}{2}=\frac{\frac{5}{2}\pm \frac{3}{2}}{2}=\frac{1}{2}or2$$$$x=\frac{1}{16}or16$$

$$2\sqrt[4]{x}+\frac{2}{\sqrt[4]{x}}=5\Rightarrow a+b=5;ab=4$$$$a,barerootsof{p}^2-5p+4=0\Rightarrow a=4orb=1$$$$\Rightarrow 2\sqrt[4]{x}=4\Rightarrow \sqrt[4]{x}=2\Rightarrow x=16;2\sqrt[4]{x}=1\Rightarrow x=\frac{1}{16}$$
