If  a  divided by b gives q  remaining r  Then  (a/b) = q,rrr...  in base b+1

Example?  ((10)/7)=1 remaining 3 but (3/7) in base 7 is .3

...on the other hand  2.11111... in base 7 is ((13)/6) in base 10  I don′t get it?!

(a/b)=q+(r/b)=q.r(base b) for q<b(Otherwise,express  q in its simplest form in base b)
