$$$$$$\underset{x\to 0}{lim}\frac{x^4-\tan {}^{4}x}{2\sqrt{3}{x}^6}=\frac{1}{2\sqrt{3}}\underset{x\to 0}{lim}\frac{(x^2+\tan {}^{2}x)(x+\tan x)(x-\tan x)}{x^6}$$$$=\frac{1}{2\sqrt{3}}\cdot 2\cdot 2\cdot (-\frac{1}{3})=-\frac{2}{3\sqrt{3}}$$
