$$Solve:$$$$\frac{\mathbf{log}({\mathbf{x}}^2+7\mathbf{x}-5)}{\mathbf{log}(\mathbf{x}+2)}=2$$

$$log(x^2+7x-5)=2log(x+2)$$$$log(x^2+7x-5)=log{(x+2)}^2$$$$\Rightarrow x^2+7x-5=x^2+4x+4$$$$\Rightarrow 7x-4x=9$$$$\therefore x=3$$
