Solve: ((log(x^2 +7x−5))/(log(x+2)))=2

Solve:log(x2+7x5)log(x+2)=2

Answered by som(math1967) last updated on 11/Oct/23

log(x^2 +7x−5)=2log(x+2) log(x^2 +7x−5)=log(x+2)^2 ⇒x^2 +7x−5=x^2 +4x+4 ⇒7x−4x=9 ∴ x=3

log(x2+7x5)=2log(x+2)log(x2+7x5)=log(x+2)2x2+7x5=x2+4x+47x4x=9x=3
