                 Un = ln (cos (1/2^n ) )      show  that Un ≤0

Un=ln(cos12n)showthatUn0

0≤cos((1/(2n)))≤1=e^0 ⇒U_n ≤ln(e^0 )=0

0cos(12n)1=e0Unln(e0)=0

we have 0≤(1/2^n )<(π/2)  ∀n≥1 ⇒  0<cos((1/2^n ))≤1 ⇒ln(cos(1/2^n ))≤0 ⇒  u_n ≤0

wehave012n<π2n10<cos(12n)1ln(cos12n)0un0
