50% =50% of 1(by default 1 is argument)=0.5 50%+50%=(50% of 1)+(50% of (50% of 1)) =0.5+0.25=0.75

50%=50%of1(bydefault1isargument)=0.550%+50%=(50%of1)+(50%of(50%of1))=0.5+0.25=0.75

There are many bad calculators out there... Some still use the algorithms from the 1980s accounting devices where you simply had to type 120 [+] 10 [%] to get 132 and 120 [×] 3.5 [%] to get 4.2

Btw even wolframalpha has some bugs. i.e. It cannot correctly solve certain polynomes of 3^(rd) degree with 3 real solutions. It gives the Cardano solutions which are wrong in these cases because it doesn′t know the Trigonometric solutions.

The calculator I′m using is CalcES by “tools for student” from Google Play. I′m using the percentage calculation type setting I posted earlier, and I get both solutions. (1 and 0.75) P.S. I do not use WolframAlpha
