$$?=x$$$$△\mathrm{ABC}\sim △\mathrm{ADE}$$$$\frac{3}{r}=\frac{4}{4-r}=\frac{5}{x+r}\Rightarrow 4r=12-3r\Rightarrow r=\frac{12}{7}$$$$\frac{3}{r}=\frac{5}{x+r}\Rightarrow \frac{3}{\frac{12}{7}}=\frac{5}{x+\frac{12}{7}}$$$$3x+\frac{36}{7}=\frac{60}{7}$$$$3x=\frac{60-36}{7}$$$$x=\frac{8}{7}$$$$$$
