$$2+\frac{2}{2-\frac{2}{2+\frac{2}{2-\frac{2}{2+\frac{2}{3}}}}}$$$$=2+\frac{2}{2-\frac{2}{2+\frac{2}{2-\frac{3}{4}}}}$$$$=2+\frac{2}{2-\frac{2}{2+\frac{8}{5}}}$$$$=2+\frac{2}{2-\frac{5}{9}}$$$$=2+\frac{18}{13}$$$$=\frac{44}{13}✓$$

$$3\frac{5}{13}=3+\frac{5}{13}=\frac{39}{13}+\frac{5}{13}=\frac{44}{13}$$
