$$\frac{4\cos \theta +5\cos \theta }{2}=R$$$$\Rightarrow \cos \theta =\frac{2R}{9}$$$${\left(2R\right)}^2={10}^2+9^2-2\times 10\times 9\cos 2\theta$$$$4R^2=181-180(2\times \frac{4R^2}{81}-1)$$$$R^2=\frac{3249}{196}$$$$\Rightarrow R=\frac{57}{14}✓$$
