$$Thereare4possiblecases.$$$$x-3+x+2=9$$$$-(x-3)+x+2=9$$$$x-3-(x+2)=9$$$$-(x-3)-(x+2)=9$$$$$$$$2x=10,x⩾3,x⩾-2$$$$\mathrm{\varnothing }$$$$\mathrm{\varnothing }$$$$-2x=8,x<3,x<-2$$$$$$$$x=5$$$$x=-4$$
