say P(p, p^2 )  tan θ=2p  cos θ=(1/( (√(1+4p^2 ))))=(1/4)  ⇒p=((√(15))/2)  r=(p/(sin θ))=((√(15))/(2×((√(15))/4)))=2 ✓

sayP(p,p2)tanθ=2pcosθ=11+4p2=14p=152r=psinθ=152×154=2

q=p^2   equation of common Normal:  y−q=(−(1/(2p)))(x−p)  set  x_0 =0  ⇒  y_0 −q=(1/2)  R=4(y_0 −q)=4×(1/2)=2

q=p2equationofcommonNormal:yq=(12p)(xp)setx0=0y0q=12R=4(y0q)=4×12=2
