$$a=2(\frac{\pi }{6}-\frac{sin60°}{2})=2(\frac{\pi }{6}-\frac{\sqrt{3}}{4})=\frac{\pi }{3}-\frac{\sqrt{3}}{2}$$$$A=\frac{\pi }{2}-\frac{2\pi }{3}+\sqrt{3}=\sqrt{3}-\frac{\pi }{6}$$$$[Non-shaded]=6A+6a=3\sqrt{3}+\pi$$$$\left[Hexagon\right]=6\times 2\times \frac{\sqrt{3}}{2}=6\sqrt{3}$$$$\left[Shaded\right]=6\sqrt{3}-3\sqrt{3}-\pi =3\sqrt{3}-\pi$$
