x−1 ≠ 0 ⇒ x ≠ 1 3x−7 ≠ 0 ⇒ x ≠ (7/3) 2^((1/3)×((3x−1)/(x−1))) < 2^(3×((x−3)/(3x−7))) ((3x−1)/(3x−3)) < ((3x−9)/(3x−7)) Case 1: 1 < x < (7/3) (3x−3)(3x−7) < 0 ⇒ (3x−1)(3x−7) > (3x−9)(3x−3) ⇒ 9x^2 −24x+7 > 9x^2 −36x + 27 ⇒ 12x > 20 ⇒ x > (5/3). Case 2: x ∈ (−∞,1)∪((7/3),∞) (3x−3)(3x−7) > 0 ⇒ (3x−1)(3x−7) < (3x−9)(3x−3) ⇒ 12x < 20 ⇒ x < (5/3). putting together: x ∈ (−∞,1)∪((5/3),(7/3))
